Did you know: Ramon Magsaysay

Ramon Magsaysay was the first president to wear a barong to his inaugural rites in 1953. He died in a plane crash on March 17, 1957. An estimated two million people attended his burial. After his death, Vice President Carlos P. Garcia, assumed the presidency.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
