LUCENA CITY—Anti-narcotics agents on Thursday seized more than P333,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) from three drug suspects in Taytay town and Antipolo City in Rizal province.
Operatives from the Rizal police drug enforcement unit and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency collared Rommel Delatado after he allegedly sold around 2:30 p.m. shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay Sta Ana in Taytay.
The authorities reportedly confiscated from the suspect eight plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a combined weight of 39 grams.
The seized meth has an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P265,200.
In Antipolo, anti-illegal drug operatives busted at 5:06 a.m. Mark Philip Millama and Angie Rivas in Barangay Mayamot.
The duo yielded three sachets of shabu weighing 10 grams with a DDB value of P68,000.
The three suspects were detained and are facing charges of possession and selling of shabu in violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
