LIST: Metro Manila, Bulacan areas with water supply interruption from August 7-8

There will be water supply interruption in some parts of Metro Manila and Bulacan

MANILA, Philippines — Several areas in Metro Manila and Bulacan being serviced by Maynilad Water Services Inc. will experience water supply interruptions from August 7-8.

In an advisory on Wednesday, Maynilad said this is due to a leak repair activity that will be done along General Luis street in Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon.

Specifically, the leak repair work will cause water supply interruptions from 12 a.m, on August until 2 a.m. on August 8 in the following areas:

  • Meycauayan City – Libtong
  • Valenzuela City – Bagbaguin, Bignay, East Canumay, Gen. T. De Leon, Lawang Bato, Lingunan, Mapulang Lupa, Maysan, Parada, Paso De Blas, Punturin, Ugong, and West Canumay
  • Caloocan City – 165, 166, Bagbaguin, Deparo, and Llano
  • Quezon City – Capri, Gulod, Nagkaisang Nayon, Nova Proper, San Agustin, and Sta. Monica

The water service hitch, meanwhile, may extend until 4 a.m. on August 8 in the following areas:

  • Municipality of Obando – Catanghalan
  • Valenzuela City – Arkong Bato, Balangkas, Pariancillo Villa, Bisig, Coloong, Dalandanan, Gen. T. De Leon, Isla, Karuhatan, Mabolo, Malanday, Malinta, Marulas, Maysan, Palasan, Parada, Pasolo, Polo, Poblacion, Rincion, Tagalag, Viente Reales, and Wangwang Pulo

“Affected customers are advised to store enough water for the duration of the service interruption,” said Maynilad, which also gave assurance to affected communities that water tankers will be made available to deliver potable water to them.
