2T patients avail of free medical, dental services

AROUND 2,000 people benefited from this year’s medical and dental mission of SM Foundation Inc. (SMFI) at SM City Cebu covered parking area.

The “Gamot Para sa Kapwa” medical and dental mission last March 14 and 15 was headed by its SMFI executive director Connie Angeles.

The beneficiaries availed of free consultation services and free medicines.

A mobile clinic also provided diagnostic and laboratory services such as X-ray and electrocardiograph. The mobile clinic of SM Foundation in Cebu City is the first mobile van across SM Supermalls in the Visayas and Mindanao.

SM Foundation aims to serve the community by giving free medical and dental services where SM malls are located.

Doctors, dentists, nurses and volunteers were provided by the Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko Foundation Inc., Department of Social Welfare and Services, Philippine Red Cross Cebu Chapter, Cebu City Medical Center and the Cebu City Health Department.
