More than 100 active COVID-19 cases logged in Angeles City

ANGELES CITY – The active COVID-19 cases in this city rose to 111 on Saturday, July 30, after 33 new cases were recorded in the past two days, data from the city health office showed.

On Thursday, July 28, this city had only 83 active COVID-19 cases.

The city government here also recorded three recoveries and zero deaths on Saturday.

The villages with the highest active cases are Cutcut and Sto. Domingo with 12 active cases each, followed by Malabanias and Pandan with six cases each, and the villages of Balibago, Sapalibutad, Pampang, Anunas, Margot, and Ninoy Aquino with five cases each.

Since the pandemic started in 2020, this city has recorded a total of 15,066 COVID-19 cases, of which 14,411 have recovered while 544 had died.

This highly urbanized city and the rest of Central Luzon are currently under Alert Level 1.
