Gov’t agencies, organizations vow to promote oyster farming in Capiz
ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Several agencies and organizations on Wednesday vowed to help promote oyster farming here.
Representatives of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, GRF-Hublag, the United States Agency for International Development Fish Right Program, and the Crystal Bay Oysters met with local officials to discuss the matter.
Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said he was pleased that different agencies and organizations expressed willingness to help the city improve its oyster farming activities.
“I am glad that various agencies and organizations are ready to assist us in this endeavor,” he said.
Dadivas also said that the collaboration would help oyster growers improve oyster quality and increase production.
