MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives on Wednesday elected more of its members to lead some of its committees.
During the session, members of the majority block nominated the following:

- Quezon 1st District Rep. Wilfrido Mark Enverga as committee on agriculture chairperson
- Negros Occidental 2nd District Rep. Alfred Marañon III as committee on aquaculture and fisheries resources chairperson

- Surigao del Norte 2nd District Rep. Robert Ace Barbers as committee on dangerous drugs act chairperson
