MANILA, Philippines — The fourth most wanted person in Cebu province, a frustrated murder suspect, has been arrested in Cebu City, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported on Tuesday.

The PNP identified the suspect as Glenn Onsenes Atis, 39, who was arrested in Sitio Upper Santa Ana, Barangay Labangon at around 2:00 pm on Monday in an intensified anti-criminality operation in Central Visayas.

“As we aim for progressive, safer, and more secured communities, the PNP together with other law enforcement agencies will work closely together to fight all forms of criminality including relentless campaigns against most wanted persons,” Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr., the PNP officer in charge, said in a statement.

Atis was brought to Cebu Mobile Force Company (CMFC) for proper disposition and documentation.
