MANILA, Philippines — The entire country is expected to have fair weather on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its Saturday report, Pagasa said the entire country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain and thunderstorms brought by easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.
Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said a low pressure area was also spotted 1,960 east of Northern Luzon and is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Aurelio said the low pressure area is unlikely to enter the PAR but it may turn into a tropical cyclone.
The state weather bureau also did not raise gale warnings on any of the country’s seaboards.
