Armed drug pusher nabbed in Lucena

A 61-year-old man died Friday (July 22) afternoon after he was hit by a passing Philippine National Railway (PNR) train in this city, authorities said.

LUCENA CITY—An alleged armed and notorious drug pusher was arrested in this city on Friday, July 22.

Raymond Casing, 28, was carrying an undocumented caliber .38 Smith and Wesson revolver after being caught at 10:45 p.m. selling shabu to a police agent in Barangay Ilayang Iyam, Lucena police chief Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Reyes reported Saturday.

Authorities seized the loaded gun and P6,120 worth of shabu from Casing, who was on the city police list of drug pushers.

Casing was detained and faces charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and illegal possession of a firearm.
