Angeles City logs year-high COVID-19 cases

This city has registered its highest single-day COVID-19 infection this year as it continues to experience a virus growth, local data showed.

ANGELES CITY – This city has registered its highest single-day COVID-19 infection this year as it continues to experience a virus growth, local data showed.

The city government recorded 28 new cases, 12 recoveries and a single death on Wednesday, July 20.

The city’s active COVID-19 cases now stood at 88, also the highest this year.

Sto. Domingo village has the most active cases at 14, followed by Balibago with 11 and Cutcut with seven.

This city has recorded a total of 14,873 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in 2020. Of these, 14,271 have recovered while 543 had died.
