MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will close the northbound section of the Buendia flyover in Makati City on Wednesday night to give way for repairs.

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the Buendia flyover along the South Super Highway in Makati will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday until 4 a.m. Thursday.

“The northbound direction of the flyover will be closed to traffic for the duration of the repair,” said the MMDA in a traffic advisory.

This comes a few days before the Edsa Timog Flyover is scheduled to open on July 23, after it was closed for immediate repairs after cracks were seen within the bridge.
