“Today, we will be briefed by Secretary VP Inday on her plans for the DepEd (Department of Education). Following that will be Secretary Erwin who will give us a rundown on the DSWD,” President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said during the meeting.
This is President Marcos’ first in-person Cabinet meeting since contracting COVID-19 earlier this month. Marcos led the second Cabinet meeting last week via teleconferencing.
The second Cabinet meeting focused on the 2023 national budget, as well as the infrastructure and transport sector.
On Monday, Marcos had a separate meeting with officials of the Department of Agriculture and Department of Health.
