Mild quake felt in Cebu

A MAGNITUDE 5.9 quake rocked Surigao City and other parts in Mindanao and the Visayas at 3:58 p.m yesterday was felt here as intensity 2.

Anne delos Santos, science aide of the Philippine Institute of Volcanologists and Seismologists (Phivolcs) in Manila said the tremor was felt at intensity 6 in Surigao City hurting at least 20 persons in mall stampedeCorrespondent Jhunnex Napallacan
