Two Koreans are embroiled in a libel case after one complained that the other posted defamatory remarks against her on a website.

Prosecutlors sent a subpoena for Ku but it was returned since Ku could no longer be found at his address. Ku’s identity was established because his photo appeared on the website, where he was shown posing at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) office in Manila and holding the complainant’s photo.

FEATURED STORIES

The charges against two other Koreans, Hong Gi Dong and Kim Hyun Ju, were dropped since their identities as the persons behind the remarks were not ascertained.

In June 2007, a post on the website phil22cafe commented that Park was accused of being a killer and being involved in various scams. The website is viewed by Koreans based in Cebu, said the complainant. Reporter Ador Vincent Mayol
