Bongbong Marcos ends isolation after bout with COVID — Palace
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has ended his isolation after his second bout with COVID-19, the Palace disclosed Friday.
Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles said Marcos is now “okay,” citing the President’s doctor’s findings as of July 14.
“Okay na po as of his doctor’s findings yesterday. Tapos na rin po ang isolation nya (He’s now okay as of his doctor’s findings yesterday. He has also ended his isolation),” Cruz-Angeles said in a message.
The Palace has yet to release details regarding Marcos’ activities on Friday.
Marcos tested positive for COVID-19 on July 8. Following protocols set by the Department of Health (DOH), Marcos went in isolation for seven days.
