MANILA, Philippines—Malacañang on Friday denied that the photo release of President Benigno Aquino III showing him working in his office was part of “damage control” for skipping a packed schedule last Wednesday.
The Palace, in its website released a series of photos of the President working.
Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte said that they only wanted to show the public that the President was back to work after being absent Wednesday because he was not feeling well.
Valte added that the new term “Noynoying” which was taken from the President’s nickname to mean lazing around as coined by members of militant groups has no effect on. the government.
