2 dead, 12 hurt as improvised farm tractor flips in Isabela

CABAGAN, Isabela-Two persons died and 12 others were injured when an improvised farm tractor turned upside down while cruising the national road in Barangay Balasig here on Wednesday (July 6), police said.
The fatalities were identified as Rosalyn Agabin, who died on the spot, and Solitaria Agabin, who died while being treated in a hospital.
Investigators said most of the injured victims were pinned under the vehicle.
Lt. Romel Aggabao, Cabagan chief police investigator, said the victims came from Tumauini town, also in Isabela, and were on their way home when they figured in the accident.
Aggabao said the driver lost control of the vehicle, although the cause was not immediately known.
