LEGAZPI CITY — A 28-year-old tricycle driver was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Masbate City in Masbate province on Wednesday night, July 6.
Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said Aris Cana was arrested in Barangay (village) Espinosa at around 6:12 p.m.
Anti-narcotics operatives recovered six sachets or 1.5 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth P10,200 and P500 buy-bust money.
Calubaquib said Cana was included in the illegal drugs watch list in the said city.
The suspect will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
