The two were found after the PCG earlier announced that it was conducting a search and rescue (SAR) operation for LCT Aviva 80, which ran aground off Barangay Bani in Masinloc, Zambales after being hit by strong winds and huge waves.

Meanwhile the other 22 crew members of the LCT Aviva 80 have already been rescued and were transported to the Rural Health Unit of Masinloc where they were declared in good health condition.

The PCG also earlier said no trace of an oil spill was found.
