2 drug suspects nabbed in Cavite, Rizal
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested two drug suspects and seized more than P110,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in buy-bust operations on Friday and Saturday in Cavite and Rizal provinces.
In Cavite, Sharma Banzuela was arrested after selling an estimated P13,000 worth of meth to an undercover police officer at around 12:40 a.m. Saturday in Dasmariñas City, the Police Regional Office 4A reported.
Banzuela’s associate, Marian Danica Agudong, managed to escape, report said.
In Taytay, Rizal, local drug enforcement unit nabbed Nazer Valencia in Barangay Muzon at around 3 p.m. on Friday.
The suspect yielded five sachets of shabu with an estimated value of over P75,000.
The suspects were detained and are facing a formal complaint for violating Republic Act 9165 for possession and selling dangerous drugs.
