P3.4M meth seized in Camarines Sur
LEGAZPI CITY—Police arrested two drug suspects and confiscated more than P3.4 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in a search operation Friday, July 1, in Goa town in Camarines Sur province.
Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said Naneth Obias, 33, and her live-in partner, Anthony Ariola, 23, were arrested at 6:15 a.m. in Barangay Matacla.
Police recovered two plastic bags with 510 grams of shabu worth P3,468,000.
Calubaquib said Obias was a big-time drug suspect and on the illegal drugs watch list in the region.
The suspects will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002. INQ
