Undermanned PH Patriots try to diffuse Saigon Heat in ABL today

THE AirAsia Philippine Patriots will try to get the job done today even without three key players including import Anthony Johnson when they take on the Saigon Heat in the ASEAN Basketball League in Vietnam.

The Patriots must contend with a Heat team that is coming off their biggest win of the season, a 70-69 upset of the Westport Malaysia Dragons.

The Heat lost, 62-76, to the AirAsia Philippine Patriots in their first meeting but it’s a different Heat team coming into this game.

Patriots will not be in full strength as Johnson, Ardy Larong and Frederick Rodriguez will be serving their suspensions in this game.

Aside from fellow import Nakiea Miller, 6-foot-6 center Adrech Ramos must also step along with Kiko Adriano, Al Vergara, Warren Ybanez, Jonathan Fernandez and Reed Juntilla./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
