LEGAZPI CITY—The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has recorded 22 volcanic earthquakes in the past 24 hours.
In its June 24 bulletin, Phivolcs said this was lower than the 65 earthquakes recorded in the previous monitoring period.
Phivolcs said it recorded on June 23 about 751 tons of sulfur dioxide flux.
Moderate plume emissions reached 400 meters high, drifting northwest and west-northwest, Phivolcs added.
Bulusan’s edifice was inflated, and the volcano remained on alert level 1. INQ
