LUCENA CITY—An alleged notorious drug pusher on the police watch list was arrested Monday in Santa Cruz town in Laguna province. He yielded more than P197,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth).

Anti-narcotics agents collared around 9 p.m. Eric Delos Santos, 41, after he sold P1,000 worth of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay Sto. Angel Sur, said Police Colonel Cecilio Ison Jr., Laguna cop chief, in a report Tuesday.

Authorities confiscated nine plastic sachets of shabu weighing 29 grams with a street value of P197,200.

The police said Delos Santos was on the drug watch list as a street-level peddler of illegal drugs.

The suspect was detained and is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
