LEGAZPI CITY—Police arrested three suspects and seized more than P190,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate search operations Monday, June 20, in Camarines Sur, reports said Tuesday.
Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol cop spokesperson, said Wilbert Genio, 35, was arrested in a search operation around 6 p.m. in Barangay Catagbacan in Goa town.
The police confiscated 10 live bullets for a 9mm pistol, assorted illegal drug paraphernalia, six empty transparent plastic sachets, and a pocket weighing scale.
In Baao town, Cesar Badiola, 40, was also arrested in a separate search operation around 7 a.m. in Barangay San Nicolas.
The police recovered six heat-sealed plastic sachets containing 25 grams of suspected shabu worth about P125,000 in the street market and other non-drug items.
In Libmanan town, Allan Bongcayao, 39, was also arrested in Barangay Bikal at 6:10 p.m. Seized during the operation were five crumpled aluminum foil with suspected shabu residue, an empty plastic sachet with suspected shabu residue, 17 sachets of shabu worth P68,000, an improvised tooter, and a 9 mm gun with eight live bullets.
Calubaquib said Bongcayao was an employee of an electric cooperative in the province.
