Overcast skies, rainy Sunday in parts of PH due to ITCZ
MANILA, Philippines — Some parts of the country are expected to have overcast skies with chances of rain on Sunday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In its latest Saturday bulletin, Pagasa said cloud skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) are expected in the provinces of Quezon, Marinduque, and Romblon and in the Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas.
The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will have fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Pagasa has not monitored any no low pressure areas inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, according to weather specialist Obet Badrina.
There are also no gales warning in any of the seaboards nationwide.
