Alleged drug den operator, 4 others nabbed in Pampanga
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––Operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Luzon (PDEA-CL) and the local police arrested Thursday a suspected operator of an alleged drug den and four others in Dau village in this city.
In a statement, PDEA-CL said they seized some P103,500 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) from Elizabeth Buenavista, 42, and her four companions during the buy-bust operation.
The drug den was located at South Daang Bakal in Dau, investigators said.
PDEA-CL said they confiscated from the suspects five heat-sealed transparent sachets of suspected shabu weighing 15 grams, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked peso bills used in the sting operation.
Charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 face the arrested suspects. INQ
