Olongapo cops nab drug suspect on watchlist

OLONGAPO CITY — A man on the drug watchlist of the local police was arrested on Thursday during a buy-bust operation here.

Police said the unnamed suspect, who was captured in Barangay Barretto, yielded six sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P34,000.

Also seized from the suspect was the marked money used during the operation.

Police said the suspect was detained at the custodial facility of the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit.

He will be charged with a violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
