OLONGAPO CITY — A 14-year-old American girl and a 63-year-old woman here were the latest to contract COVID-19, local data showed Thursday.
Both patients, who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, reside in Barangay Sta. Rita. They did not display symptoms of the viral disease.
As of Thursday, the number of the city’s active COVID-19 cases stood at six.
Since the pandemic struck in 2020, the city has already registered 7,002 COVID-019 cases with 6,646 recoveries. A total of 350 residents here have died of the disease.
At least 25 suspected COVID-19 cases were also being monitored by local healthcare workers.
