MANILA, Philippines — Outgoing Vice President Leni Robredo on Friday met with the transition team of Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio.
Robredo and her team welcomed Duterte-Carpio’s transition team who visited the offices used by the Office of the Vice President (OVP) in Quezon City Reception House (QCRH) and Ben-Lor Building.
OVP officials gave Duterte-Carpio’s transition team a tour of both QCRH and Ben-Lor. The QCRH serves as Robredo’s office while the Ben-Lor Building housed the OVP’s administrative units.

During the visit, Robredo said she and her team are ready to offer their assistance and guidance for the transition.
The visit came after the Robredo and Duterte-Carpio transition teams’ initial meeting on Wednesday, June 1, which was held online.
During the meeting, the OVP said an overview of the organization was presented, together with key reforms and programs started during Robredo’s tenure.
Duterte-Carpio will officially assume office on June 30 at 12 noon.
