MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Leni Robredo has sent out a letter to Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio congratulating her win in the 2022 polls, adding that the outgoing VP was ready to sit down and talk for a smooth transition.

In a letter dated Monday — copies of which were shared with media — Robredo said they received Duterte-Carpio’s letter dated May 27.
