MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––A man on the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s most wanted list was arrested Wednesday in Maria Aurora town, Aurora province, authorities said Thursday.
Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said in a statement that they arrested Noel Laroya, 32, after Judge Alejandria Javier-Genota of Baler Regional Trial Court-Family Court Branch 1 issued a warrant against him for rape.
No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Baccay said Aurora police, Maritime Group, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, and the regional police, arrested Laroya in Barangay Wenceslao.
He will be presented to the court that issued the arrest warrant against him.
