32 unregistered weighing scales seized at Olongapo market

DTI seizure weighing scale at Olongapo market

OLONGAPO CITY –– Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Zambales representatives and Local Price Coordinating Council members confiscated on Tuesday, May 31, at least 32 unregistered weighing scales at a public market in this city.

DTI Zambales said in an advisory that it monitored 189 stalls at the West Bajac-Bajac Public Market during the market saturation.

The seized unregistered weighing scales must be calibrated and registered with the City Treasurer’s Office, the DTI said.
