MANILA, Philippines — Among President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s marching orders for his incoming secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is to digitize the distribution of aid and subsidies and clean the list of beneficiaries to weed out those who shouldn’t be on the list.

Erwin Tulfo himself made the revelation on Tuesday, saying this was relayed to him by Marcos’ incoming Executive Secretary Vic Rodriguez, who had served as the President-elect’s spokesperson.
