ZAMBOANGA CITY, Zamboanga del Sur — Two explosions rocked Isabela City in Basilan province on Monday, although the first explosion was dismissed to have been caused by faulty electrical wiring.

Brig. Gen. Domingo Gobway, commander of Joint Task Force Basilan, said the first explosion inside a fast food restaurant along Plaza Rizal, Isabela City, around 5:40 p.m. was caused by faulty electrical wiring.

Gobway said they were still looking into the cause of the blast, which badly damaged a truck parked nearby and injured two people.
