ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, rain in Caraga, Davao region – Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Davao and Caraga regions will experience overcast skies and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Friday due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the state meteorologist said Thursday.
In contrast, the latest bulletin from the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) indicated that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will see fair weather conditions with partly cloudy to cloudy skies – although isolated rain showers and thunderstorms remain possible.
Pagasa weather specialist Raymond Ordinario said the country is not expecting a typhoon and any weather disturbance within three to five days.
He also said that Pagasa did not raise any gale warning in any of the country’s seaboards.
