SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––An alleged drug den operator and three others were arrested Sunday during a buy-bust operation in Subic town, authorities said.

Investigators said Edsil Salvo, 56, the alleged drug den operator; Edgar Gallardo, 44; Roel Tabajo, 30, and Cristalen Bestudio, 27, were arrested inside a makeshift drug den in Barangay Matain.

The police said Salvo was on the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency
target list of high-value individuals.

The lawmen seized at least five sachets with about 15 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P103,500 from the suspects. Also recovered from them were drug paraphernalia and the marked money.

The suspects will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
