Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas to have rainy Monday
MANILA, Philippines — An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will bring scattered rain over Mindanao, Eastern Visayas and Central Visayas on Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Based on its 24-hour public weather forecast issued Sunday, 4 p.m., the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Mindanao, Eastern Visayas and Central Visayas.
The frontal system meanwhile will trigger cloudy skies with rain over Batanes.
The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms brought by the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa warns the public against potential flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
