Olongapo remains COVID-free for 16 days
OLONGAPO CITY––For 16 consecutive days, the city’s active COVID-19 cases remained zero, local data showed on Friday, May 13.
The local interagency task force said the last COVID-19 infection recorded in the city was on April 26.
Data showed that the city had not registered additional COVID-19 cases this month.
Since the pandemic struck in 2020, the city recorded 6,989 COVID-19 cases. But at least 6,639 of these had recovered.
Data also showed that since 2020, the city recorded 350 COVID-19-related deaths.
