Cops seize P237K shabu from 4 drug suspects in Batangas, Cavite

LUCENA CITY––Anti-narcotics agents on Tuesday and Wednesday busted four alleged drug pushers and seized more than P237,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Batangas and Cavite provinces.

The Calabarzon police said in a report that Batangas City drug enforcement unit members collared on Tuesday Rosario Tolentino and Sarah Maclang after they allegedly sold a pack of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay Bolbok.

Authorities found six sachets of meth weighing 30 grams from the suspects. The confiscated illegal drugs have an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P204,000.

In Bacoor City, Cavite, anti-illegal drugs operatives nabbed Margarita Elnar in another sting operation at 2 a.m. Wednesday in Barangay Habay 2. Elnar yielded 10 sachets of shabu worth P20,000.

The operatives also collared two hours later Erick Carlos in another part of the village.

Police seized 15 sachets of meth worth P13,600.

The suspects were detained and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
