Duterte-Carpio still leads VP race on Day 2 of PPCRV's partial, unofficial count

MANILA, Philippines — On the second day of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting’s (PPCRV) partial and unofficial counting, Sara Duterte-Carpio was still dominating the vice presidential contest.

As of 8:17 p.m. Tuesday, electronically transmitted results posted on PPCRV’s website showed Duterte-Carpio obtained 31,486,366 votes.

Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan followed with 9,214,087 votes and then Senate President Vicente Sotto III with 8,173,470 votes.

Below were the latest numbers of other vice presidential candidates as of this posting, based on the PPCRV count:

So far, the votes tabulated were from 105,753 of 107,785 clustered precincts nationwide.
