MANILA, Philippines — Presidential frontrunner former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has garnered a total of 30.3 million votes in the partial and unofficial count of election returns, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec)’s transparency server.
Marcos posted 30,395,246 votes as of May 10, 6:47 am from 96 percent of election returns.
His votes are almost twice that of President Rodrigo Duterte, who garnered 16 million votes in the 2016 elections.

Still a distant second is Vice President Leni Robredo who got 14,478,817 votes.
Meanwhile, Senator Manny Pacquiao placed third with 3,483,191 votes, followed by Manila City mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso with 1,848,41 votes. Lacson comes in fifth among preferred presidential bets with over 867,621 votes.
Marcos Jr.’s running mate Davao mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio has also tallied 30,735,256 votes.
Trailing behind Duterte-Carpio is Robredo’s running mate Sen. Kiko Pangilinan with 9,021,444 votes.
Placing third in the vice presidential race is Senate President Vicente Sotto III with 8,047,120 votes.
Coming in fourth is Dr. Willie Ong, the running mate of Moreno, with 1,811,085 votes; followed by House Deputy Speaker Lito Atienza, who is Pacquiao’s partner, with 258,634 votes.
