Partial, unofficial: Bongbong Marcos leads over Isko Moreno in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos Jr. gained a big lead over rival Manila Mayor Isko Moreno in his own bailiwick in the partial, unofficial count of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) late Monday.
As of 10:32 p.m., Marcos gained a total of 326,632 votes in Manila against Moreno’s 272,490 — or 54,142 votes more — with 91.5% of votes counted.
Vice President Leni Robredo was in third place with 180,234 votes; Sen. Panfilo Lacson in fourth 10,704 votes, and Sen. Manny Pacquiao in fifth with 6,407 votes.
In the 2019 elections, when he ran for mayor in Manila, Moreno got a total of 357,925 votes against his then-chief rival, the incumbent Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, who got 210,605 votes.
Overall, Marcos is so far leading in with over 24 million votes, based on the Comelec’s unofficial count as of 11:32 p.m.
He is trailed by his chief rival Vice President Leni Robredo with 11.4 million votes.
Moreno only came in fourth in the race, with 1.5 million votes, after Pacquiao who got 2.4 million votes.
Lacson trailed in fifth place with 744,817 votes.
