MANILA, Philippines — Fire struck a polling precinct in Manila on election day, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported Monday.
The BFP said the fire at the Aurora Elementary School in San Andres, Manila was traced to an electrical issue involving a ceiling fan.
The first alarm was raised at 8:52 a.m. and the fire was declared out at 9:04 a.m. the BFP said.
No other details about the fire were given by the BFP as of posting time.
