CITY OF CALAPAN—Senior citizens were among the earliest to vote in this city on Monday for the national and local elections.
In Barangay Suqui, some elderly lined up as early as 4:30 a.m.
Feliciana Alban, 71, said it was a relief when she completed the voting process because she was afraid at first to commit an error.
While waiting for their turn, seniors remind each other to shade their ballots properly.
Pandemic restrictions are being implemented and observed at the polling centers.
