MANILA, Philippines — Big crowds of supporters attended Tutok to Win Partylist’s campaign rally in Batasan, Quezon City Friday night with hopes of a better future.
The party’s first nominee Sam Verzosa vowed to give them proper representation if he gets elected to the House of Representatives.
“Nagawa na namin tumulong ni Kuya Willie Revillame, patuloy kaming tumutulong kayat alam ko na ang mga pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan,” said Verzosa, who co-founded the successful multilevel marketing company Frontrow.
“Hindi namin kayo bibiguin. Ipagpapatuloy namin ni Kuya Wil ang mga programa niya, itutuloy naming sa mas malaking plataporma.”
Not only did Verzosa give the crowd hope, he also promised to deliver positive changes in their lives.
Verzosa pointed out that he once experienced being poor himself.
Meanwhile, several showboz personalities graced the rally to entertain the crowd.
Among those who showed up in Batasan are Pio Balbuena, Kris Delano, Tiny Montana, Nik Makino, Mstryo, Kxle, Jake Piedad, Third Flo, Lester O, Waff, Jay Flava, Abadon, Kial, Mcee Zabala and the Wowowin Girls.
