/ 09:19 AM May 07, 2022

GMA Network, the Philippines’ undisputed number one broadcast company, is taking the lead in bringing the latest news about the May 9 elections through its biggest and most comprehensive “Eleksyon 2022: The GMA News and Public Affairs Coverage.”

GMA is pulling all the stops as it continues to provide credible news and information on TV, radio and online. It is doing so with the Inquirer Group of Companies (IGC) as election coverage partner along with 50 others and with over 1,000 news and public affairs personnel across all platforms, 11 regional TV stations and 23 radio stations nationwide.

Anchored on its brand of journalism “Walang kinikilingan, Walang pinoprotektahan. Serbisyong Totoo Lamang,” GMA would deliver only the best coverage of the elections for more than 80 million Filipinos nationwide, over 1 million Filipinos in 103 countries and more than 173 million social media followers and subscribers of GMA News and Public Affairs.

“Eleksyon 2022” marathon coverage will start at 4 a.m. on May 9.

Leading the coverage are some of the country’s most trusted broadcast journalists, all GMA News pillars: Arnold Clavio, Mel Tiangco, Vicky Morales, Howie Severino, Jessica Soho and Mike Enriquez. Joining them is a roster of news anchors, journalists and stringers here and abroad and various news teams from GMA’s flagship AM and FM radio stations—Super Radyo dzBB 594, Barangay LS 97.1—and GMA Regional TV.

In line with its election advocacy campaign “Dapat Totoo”, GMA is asking candidates, voters and media to share in the responsibility for fair and wise decision-making in the elections.

For Eleksyon 2022, people can rely on GMA for the latest news and information as the country picks its new leaders.
