MANILA, Philippines — The entire country is expected to have fair weather conditions on Saturday, May 7, as candidates for this year’s general elections are set to hold their respective grand rallies to conclude their months of campaigning.

In its latest bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Metro Manila and the rest of the country would see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.

Pagasa weather specialist Raymond Ordinario said state meteorologists are only seeing thin cloud bands all over the country and have not monitored any weather disturbance that may enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the next three to five days.
