New health center opened in Taguig

The fourth national COVID-19 vaccination drive is tentatively set on March 10 to 12, a health official said Wednesday.

MANILA, Philippines — A new health center has been opened in Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, the local government announced Friday.

The Lower Bicutan Health Center, inaugurated on Wednesday, will provide residents convenience to health initiatives and programs.

“Taguig is active in providing Taguigeños the health services they deserve and continues to expand its programs for everyone especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic,” Mayor Lino Cayetano said in a statement.

The Lower Bicutan Health Center will have consultation rooms, treatment rooms, prenatal and family planning rooms among other rooms to accommodate various medical services.

A Doctor-on-Call office will likewise be available 24/7 to assist constituents with health-related concerns.

The local government likewise opened its fourth super health center in Barangay Ligid-Tipas. It boasts a laboratory to assess tests, birthing room, and consultation and examination rooms among others.

Two more health centers are expected to open in Barangays Central Signal and Ibayo-Tipas.

Taguig City continues to prioritize the implementation of programs that improve the health and well-being of Taguigeños,” the local government said.
